NC State has established a convenience contract for transcript and caption creation. Anyone at NC State can use the providers listed below, but you must reference Contract 63-JGD10298 to receive the pricing.
For purchases of $5,000 or more, any of these providers may be used without going out to bid.
The providers can also be used for purchases under $5,000, but for purchases in this price range you may also go with any provider you would like.

The providers are listed in alphabetical order. For questions, contact accessibility@ncsu.edu.
Captioning synchronization: $.90/minute (you provide the transcript)

Same-day service is only available for English.
Content that is untranscribable due to excessive noise or music may be rejected. In this case, the user will be notified and there will be no charge.
There is no additional charge for multiple speakers. However, poor quality audio may lengthen the time required to transcribe or prohibit transcription altogether.
